Flexible resistance heating cables ISK are used where the length of the circuit exceeds the maximum length of self-regulating heating cables. ISK resistance heating cables resist the steam flushing temperatures. They are used to hold the temperature on long pipes or to protect against frost.
The ISK serial circuit provides constant power over the entire length of the cable without a voltage drop. Glass ceramic tape increases cable protection and fluoropolymer ensures chemical resistance while maintaining maximum flexibility.
ISK cables are approved for use in normal environments, zones 1, 2 and zones 21, 22.

Design:
The power output limitation of the ISK cables is due to the designed maintained temperature. We are able to ensure that the temperature class given by the stabilized design allows ISK cables to operate in a potentially explosive environment without limiting thermostats. Power and temperature class of ISK cables depends on supply voltage, cable resistance, cable length, temperature conditions and other variables.

BASIC ACCESSORIES:

Cable termination:
One ISK heating cable requires 2pcs of cold end and 2pcs of connectors between the heating cable and the cold end. For correct selection of termination sets contact GENERI, s.r.o.

Size and type of circuit breaker:
The maximum circuit lengths depend on the conductor resistance per meter. The size of the circuit breaker and the type of short circuit protection used must be designed according to national standards. For design information and other supply voltages please contact GENERI, s.r.o.
Short-circuit protection must be provided for each supply branch of the heating system separately.

Note:
1. Temperature classes are according to internationally recognized standards of authorized institutions.
2. ISK heating cables are approved for temperature classes using a stabilized design. This makes it possible to use cables in
     explosive atmospheres without limiting thermostats. For design
